Appartamenti Reali di Palazzo Pitti - Firenze in Toscana
Gli Appartamenti Reali occupano la metà destra del piano nobile di Palazzo Pitti e sono un’importante testimonianza della vita della reggia nel corso di tre successivi periodi storici. Al primo periodo (metà sec. XVI-fine sec. XVII), caratterizzato dal fasto della corte medicea, appartengono le stanze di facciata, che erano destinate al principe ereditario, mentre le sale corrispondenti alla parte laterale erano occupate dalla sua consorte. Attualmente mantengono l’impianto che era stato loro dato dal Gran Principe Ferdinando dei Medici che vi abitò fino all’anno della morte (1713). Vi figurano ancora pochi ma preziosi arredi del periodo mediceo, tra cui l’importante stipo in ebano e pietre dure appartenuto alla granduchessa Vittoria della Rovere moglie di Ferdinando II (sec.
